Measuring 183×121 cm, it showcases a rich array of intricate floral and vine motifs on a deep blue field, framed by a classic ivory border adorned with stylized floral patterns. The rug’s delicate interwoven patterns and robust structure reflect the enduring legacy of Bijar weavers, often referred to as the “Iron Rugs of Persia” for their durability. This piece was made in a studio in Mazarsharif in Afghanistan and beautifully captures the elegance and intricate craftsmanship of Persian weaving traditions, making it a standout addition for any collection.
