Lot 51: A nomadic weave antique Balouch carpet, circa 1890, woven by Balouchi tribe women in a tent during the late 19th century. This rare and collectible piece was originally crafted to cover the entry of a tent. Restored in some areas, it features a distressed look with superb oxidised colours, achieved through over 130 years of exposure to natural and artificial light. This rug is best suited for low-traffic areas or as a unique wall hanging. A remarkable antique from Persia, this rug holds both historical and artistic value.
