It boasts an exceptionally fine wool pile on a cotton foundation, with over 800,000 Persian (asymmetrical) knots per square metre. The design features exquisite 15th-century Shah-Abbasi guls with a beautiful central medallion motif. This piece remains in immaculate condition for its age, as it was preserved as a wall hanging.
