Lot 30, This hand-knotted Turkaman weave main carpet, crafted in a studio workshop in Peshawar in 2002, is a custom-made masterpiece. Using handspun Qazni wool and natural Chobi dyes, it combines traditional materials with timeless craftsmanship. The design is inspired by 16th-century Safavid Isfahan, featuring Shah-Abbasi guls surrounded by cloud-band chains, showcasing intricate detailing and historical richness. Its robust construction ensures exceptional durability, making it perfect for high-traffic areas. This new and unused piece has soft yet decorative colours and a fine texture, offering both elegance and lasting value to any contemporary space. A truly remarkable heirloom piece.
