Vintage Shahsavan Sumac – Tribal Flatweave
Origin: Persia | Size: 290 × 110 cm, RRP $5000

A very fine Shahsavan Sumac flatweave from circa 1950, showcasing the intricate weft-wrapping technique typical of this tribal group. Woven entirely in wool, it features detailed geometric motifs and a richly textured surface. Known for their precision and durability, Shahsavan pieces are both decorative and practical.
