Vintage Bijar Rug, c.1940, RRP $6000

A beautifully woven vintage Bijar rug from Persia, featuring a rich red field with an all-over Herati-style pattern and a central ivory medallion. The strong double-weft construction gives this piece excellent durability, while the natural vegetable dyes add depth and warmth to the colours.
