Hand-knotted prayer design rug, woven by Turkaman women in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan. Inspired by a 16th-century Oushak rug displayed at the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, this piece was custom-made and modified in size for use as a floor covering.
