Vintage Kashan in the Haj-Khanoom Tree of Life design, cottage-woven circa the 1960s. This exquisite piece features a very fine local wool pile, boasting an impressive 450,000 knots per square metre, reflecting exceptional craftsmanship. The Haj-Khanoom design, which emerged between the late 19th and mid-20th centuries, was influenced by the opulence of Persian court art. It embodies the sophistication and delicate artistry for which Kashan weavers are renowned, producing some of the finest carpets in Persian history.
