Hand-woven by Armenian settlers in Tafresh area. Made with very fine local wool pile and dyed using natural Madder red and Indigo blue, this vintage piece (circa 1960) reflects exceptional craftsmanship. Originally woven to serve as a decorative hanging rug above a daybed in the village of Tafresh in the Bakhtiari region, it is a rare and highly durable piece. West Persia
