A rare and impressive Persian Turkaman gallery carpet, woven circa 1950 by the Yamut clan of north-eastern Persia. With wool pile on a full wool foundation, it offers exceptional durability, disciplined geometry and rich tribal character. Preserved in immaculate condition, this large-scale piece is highly collectable and beautifully decorative.
